What is Xeomin?
Xeomin is one of many neuromodulators on the market. Neuromodulators are medications that are used to reduce muscle contractions. When neuromodulators are injected into the muscles of the face, they can smooth dynamic wrinkles and achieve a more youthful appearance. Other popular neuromodulators used include Dysport and Botox.
How is Xeomin formulated?
Neuromodulators are formulated with an active ingredient known as botulinum type A. This is a protein that can intercept chemical messages to the nerves and muscle, reducing contraction.
