What areas can be improved with fat transfer surgery?
There are many areas of the body in which fat can be removed and replaced. Fat is often removed from the:

Then, the fat is then reinjected into the recipient site, which may include the:
- Face
- Hands
- Breasts
- Buttocks
This transfer is achieved by removing fat cells during liposuction and preparing it for injection in other areas. The results are natural-looking and do not require implants to achieve.
Where might a patient use fat transfers in the face?
The facial area is a common location for patients to reuse unwanted fat from their body. Injections may be completed in the eye area to remove sunken areas, or in the cheek to restore volume. Patients may also use fat injections in the same way they would a dermal filler for fine lines and wrinkles on the face. This may include nasolabial folds and forehead creases. The patient might even utilize fat injections to augment the lips, regain a fuller, plumper appearance to the lower lip, or to address asymmetry.
