What is rhinoplasty surgery?
The rhinoplasty surgery is best referred to as a “nose job.” It is performed to change the shape, size, contours, bridge, or protrusion of the nose from the face. What is the process of obtaining rhinoplasty?
First, patients consult with their doctor at Bay Area laser Cosmetic Surgery Center to decide if they are a good fit for this surgery. X-rays may be taken to evaluate the structures of the nose and plan the procedure. Patients schedule a surgical date, during which outpatient surgery is performed. Patients will need to take time off of school, work, and other activities for a specific period of time to ensure proper healing and reduce the risk of complications. All patients are sent home with post-operative care instructions to follow closely to ensure comfort and recovery.
