The benefits
Lasers can remove hair from the bikini line, under arm, leg, arm, and face, and other areas. Lasers are incredibly precise. For example, they can select dark, coarse hairs while leaving the surrounding skin untouched.
Laser therapy is fast. With each laser pulse, many hair follicles are treated at the same time. Every second, the laser can work on an area the size of a quarter. Small areas like the chin can take only minutes, while larger areas like the back can take an hour.

Preparing for laser hair removal
Laser hair therapy may be a quick and effective procedure, but it is a medical procedure nonetheless. Be sure to select an experienced doctor with the proper credentials to minimize the risk of complications. If you have plans to a do a laser hair removal procedure, limit electrolysis, waxing, and plucking for six weeks before your appointment. This is necessary because the laser must target the root of the hair, which is briefly removed when you wax or pluck.
Avoid sun exposure for six weeks leading up to your procedure, as well as six weeks after. Being in the sun will make laser hair removal not work as well. It also opens up the possibility of more complications post-treatment.
